Nitish Katara murder convict to get parole

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court Wednesday granted five-hour custodial parole to Vishal Yadav, who is serving life sentence for killing Nitish Katara, to attend his sister's engagement on December 26.

A division bench comprising Justices Vipin Sanghi and Anil Kumar after considering Yadav's plea directed Delhi and Uttar Pradesh police to escort him from 5 pm to 10 pm on the day to Ghaziabad to attend the ceremony.
