New Delhi: Impatient but not arrogant, is how the Delhi Chief Minister, Ms Sheila Dikshit, describes herself while refuting opposition criticism.
And she also maintains that she is more tough on herself than on anyone else.
"I am tough on myself more than anybody else. If that is arrogance then I cannot explain it," said 72-year-old, Ms Dikshit.
Strongly refuting BJP's allegations that she had become arrogant after getting elected for the third term, Ms Dikshit, who completed 11 years in the office last week, said "since the opposition cannot say anything about anything else, they say I have become arrogant.
"Where am I arrogant tell me, I will correct it there and then. I will say sorry. May be I appeared arrogant but I did not mean to be," she said.
"But yes, I am impatient. And I am particularly impatient now because I know that we have a time-frame to work within for the Commonwealth Games," she said in the same breath.
"I am myself. If I had been arrogant I should have been arrogant the first time. The bastion of our opposition was broken. That is when I should have become arrogant.
If I have not become arrogant in 10 years, why should I become arrogant in the 11th year," Ms Dikshit said.
The chief minister also maintains that today's Delhi was much improved as compared to what it used to be 15 years back.
