Gujarat cops don't have info on Headley

Ahmedabad: Gujarat police on Thursday said they have no information or record about visit by American terror suspect David Coleman Headley to the state.

"We do not have any information on him (Headley). It has been said in the media that he had come to Ahmedabad but we have had no communication from the Centre or the FBI in this regard," the director general of police, Mr S.S. Khandwawala said.

"We are awaiting information on him from the agencies concerned, following which we could investigate further. As of now, we do not have any record of him (Headley)," he added.

About reports of activity of Headley in the state, the DGP said there was no information in this regard.
