Siliguri (West Bengal): The Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM)has withdrawn its four-day shutdown in the Darjeeling Hills that began
on Monday, a senior leader of the outfit said.
"We had a meeting with top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Monday. The appealed to us to refrain from any agitational activity now," said GJM general secretary Roshan Giri.
However, the GJM activists will continue the indefinite hunger strike.
