Ghatkopar blast accused held in UP

Lucknow: Two persons, including a man wanted in connection with Ghatkopar bomb explosion in 2006, were arrested after a police encounter here on Friday.

Subhash Yadav and Manoj Singh were arrested after an encounter in Thakurganj area here, police said.

Two country-made pistols and a number of cartridges were recovered from their
possession, police said.

A resident of Azamgarh, Yadav was wanted in connection with Ghatkopar explosion in July 24, 2006 and has 19 criminal cases pending against him in Ballia, Azamgarh and Lucknow, police said.
