Fire at CWG construction site; no injuries reported

New Delhi: A fire broke out at an under construction Commonwealth Games site at north campus in Delhi University this evening, fire brigade officials said on Thursday.

The fire broke out at around 7 pm. According to preliminary reports, PVC sheets which ere installed at a height of about 45 feet at the construction site had caught fire, they said.

"However, no report about anyone sustaining injury in the incident has yet come," they added. Fire tenders have been rushed to the spot.
