Bharuch: Two men have been arrested with one kilogram of heroine, worth nearly Rs 1 crore in the international market, from Firozpur Janta Express at the railway station here, Director of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials said on Wednesday.
Ten live bullets have also been recovered from the two men — Samsul Hoda of Maharashtra and Ramniwas Saxena of Delhi, they said.
The duo were arrested on Tuesday from the Firozpur Janta Express by the DRI officials based on a tip off.
"Nearly one kilogram of heroine, which could be worth Rs 1 crore in the international market," and 10 live bullets were recovered from their luggage, the officials said.
The officials said that the duo were produced before a local court here which sent them to judicial custody after rejecting their demand for their custody for further interrogation.
