Passion is what led Xander Neff to his now thriving, luxury modeling agency called XK Luxury LLC. This passion started after a difficult life where it seems obstacles kept getting put in his way, but that couldn’t stop this hero.
It was back in 2018, Xander Neff, only 18 was snowboarding. The tragedy happened on a Sunday when he got into a big accident and got major trauma to his brain. It wasn’t until he tried to use the bathroom that he realized things were worse than they had seemed. He was paralyzed, unable to move from the waist down. One minute he was living his life to the fullest, and in the blink of an eye he couldn’t move half of his body. Doctors were certain that he would never be able to move again and with that, he was put into physical therapy. Two months later, Xander noticed that he could wiggle his toes. A small victory to some, but it was such a big step forward he couldn’t help but to shed some tears. In six short months, Xander was back doing the activities he used to love such as swimming in Summersville Lake where he had previously worked.
After joining the army, aiding in training dogs, his time was cut short when he got an injury that would require surgeries which led to his retirement from there. With no work, he became homeless and was offered a job from a man who had contacted him through social media after his story went viral. His good friend Cody Grigsby invited him on a trip to Tampa Florida to watch him during his upcoming shoot, Xander agreed. They drove down and Xander stood by as his friend worked. The photographer called Xander over and asked if he would like to give it a try and without hesitation, he was in front of the camera confident and proud. He had finally found his true passion, modeling.
He decided to put his foot in the door by working for different agencies to learn the in’s and outs of a successful modeling company. This started him on his path to his now successful agency which he named XK Luxury LLC. where he strives to build an overachieving community of like-minded individuals. It’s important for him to have XK Luxury LLC. to consist of the highest quality of content which in turn will bring it to being the top modeling agency in the world.
Before he started his business, there is one particular question Xander asks himself, “Is the Juice worth the squeeze?” This is a quote from his favorite movie The Girl Next Door. This quote explains in comparison to how orange juice is made, you must first squeeze the juice out. Making fresh juice does take work and time, so it is up to you to decide if it is going to be worth it in the end. “Before starting any business you should consider the challenges ahead, the money needed to be invested and the time it will take to become successful and profit enough at the end to have been worth the investment and struggles,” shares Xander.
Reroute your mindset to make every day the best day of your life. Wake up with a giant smile on your face and be excited for what's to come. Stay determined and focused, just as Xander did and does. He likes to think of everyday life as if it's Friday. The feeling of the weekend makes everyone excited and ready to go, so feeling that way every day will really get the fuel burning inside of you and will let you complete and focus on your deepest desires.
