TRS: Civil war if city is made UT
Dec. 10: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti has opened another front in its ongoing agitation for a separate state with its ideologue, Prof Jayashankar, warning that there would be civil war if Telangana was created without Hyderabad.
Even as the five decade-long agitation for a separate Telangana seeming to bear fruition, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, “Greater Hyderabad,” has becoming a bone of contention among the leaders of Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema.
Mr K.T. Rama Rao of TRS has made it clear that Hyderabad has been the capital of Telangana for over 400 years and will continue to be so.
However, the MLAs and MPs from Andhra and Rayalaseema questioned whether the TRS would also demand Bidar from Karnataka and Nanded from Maharashtra, which were once part of Telangana or the erstwhile Hyderabad State ruled by the Nizams.

After reading all these comments, I've come to a conclusion that all these people who are agitating for Samaikya Andhra are interested only in Hyderabad. One difference I always find in people of Seema-Andhra and Telangana is, you never say it straight. We in Telangana have lost jobs, water and resources, which made your areas lush green and your pockets full. What kind of development are u speaking about. Hyderabad city was having an airport in 1956 itself. Can you please one PSU in Telangana?

Will TRS ever fight against poverty, price rise or any other social issue?
Mr Rama Rao: 400 years! Do not present your marketing skills. After independence at the most 7 years it was. But for nearly 54 years people of Rayalaseema and Andhra are also working under Constitution of India, and today some citizes from Nizamabad are coming to even dominate us will not be tolerated. Till now every one thought KCR was a nuisance but every idea is from Jayashanker.
Mind ur toungue
Hyderabad was capital of Nizam State (present Telangana) since 400 years. Coastal Andhra people who setteled in Telangana need not worry, they can stay in Telangana as usual. Since it is only the division of state administration.
Thank you Akhand for your kind heart! All we Telugu=speaking pesons are highly indebted to you. I'll live in whichever state I want and whichever city I want to in India. I don't need your consent or a visa for that!
