Hyderabad, Dec. 25: Confusion continues over the identity of individuals who reportedly made the most of the situation by joining the protesting students and creating chaos on the Osmania University campus on Thursday.
The miscreants who instigated violence were untraceable after the incidents, especially the attack on Telugu Desam leaders. The students alleged that outsiders infiltrated into their groups as violence was not on their agenda.
The identity problem resurfaced on Friday too when an individual enquired about the native place of a woman reporter covering the day’s events at the Arts College. But, he was not to be seen on the campus later.
The individual reportedly asked her about the coverage of IG Anuradha’s press conference on the deployment of paramilitary forces and her appeal to the students.
Following the incident, media personnel staged a protest.
Srikanth Raju, the outsider who assaulted the TD leaders on Thursday, is reported to have criminal background in Nalgonda.
Though the police put barricades at the NCC Gate, OU Police Station and at the road behind Ladies Hostel, several by-lanes open into the university. The situation gets more chaotic with so many students on the campus, with no scope to differentiate a student from an outsider.
“A number of people, including advocates, came to extend support to their agitation, how we can possibly keep tab on everyone who joins the students,” an Arts College student said on condition of anonymity.

It may be true that the person who actually hit the MLA is outsider but there was lot of violence at the area like damaging 10 vehicles and OU JAC should be responsible for the damage and their claim that the agitation is peaceful is ridiculus. Don't fool public, please.
