July 2: People of Yelloku, a tiny village in Doravarisathram mandal of PSR Nellore district, are keeping their eyes on the sky. On June 24, some residents reportedly spotted unidentified flying objects (UFO) twice in the sky. Since then, everyone has become a bit of a skygazer.
“Initially we thought it was an aircraft. But we were taken aback when the object came close to the earth from the west and remained stationary for a while before gliding off towards the east at an unimaginable speed at about 7.30 pm,” Mr K. Mahesh and Mr B. Shalim, both residents of the village, said. Mr Shalim said he again spotted the object in the eastern sky at about 2 am.
Another villager, Mr Mahesh, even managed to click pictures of the UFO using his cellphone. Although the images are blurred, a bright circular light can be seen. Mr Mahesh said he noticed colourful lights as well. This version was seconded by Ms K. Sugunamma, who runs a petty shop. She too mentioned the multi-coloured lights she noticed from the base of what appeared like a saucer at about 7.30 pm.
Another person, Mr Anil, claimed that his wife, Ms Blessy, had noticed similar objects several times before. But she revealed this only now. Ms Blessy, a graduate herself, said she did not talk about it assuming that no one would believe her.
It must be mentioned here that Yekollu is located about 1 km from the National Highway 5 and nearly 20 kms from Isro’s rocket launching centre at Shar.

Finally! A UFO in India. I don't care what people say but just the fact that someone saw a UFO in India makes me happy. I was getting tired of all the cool stuff happening only in the US or Europe.

Absolutely WooHoo. I am a serious UFO believer. There are other reported UFO cases in the Himalayas also. But this is on print on mainstream media.
