Jayasudha is 1091 helpline ambassador

Hyderabad, March 16: Film actor and Secunderabad MLA Ms Jayasudha has been made the brand ambassador of 1091 helpline to create awareness about the number.
The toll-free number 1091 is a helpline for women in distress.
The move comes after there were no calls to the helpline.
The home minister, Ms Sabita Indra Reddy, asked Ms Jayasudha to promote the helpline number.
Ms Jayasudha will be promoting the helpline in FM radios, TV channels and other advertisements.
The Crime Investigation Department Women Protection Cell is associated with the helpline number where women in distress can call and seek assistance.
