Hyderabad, March 16: The Communist Party of India will submit its views to the Srikrishna committee after discussions by the state committee.

The party deputy general secretary, Mr S. Sudhakar Reddy, said the state committee would meet on March 22 and deliberate on the contents before submitting it to the Srikrishna committee.

The CPI supports a separate state for Telangana.

The senior CPI leader also demanded that the Centre should immediately convene an all-party meeting to discuss the Nuclear Liability Bill. He said the Left parties would take a stand on the issue only after clarifying doubts and apprehensions at the all-party meeting. Reacting to the Congress’ criticism that the Left and the Bharatiya Janata Party have an “unholy” alliance to oppose the Bill, Mr Sudhakar Reddy said the “unholy” nexus was indeed between the Congress-led government at the Centre and the United States on nuke energy.
