Babu may skip TD’s T meeting
Hyderabad, Dec. 20: The Telugu Desam leaders from Telangana region will hold a crucial meeting on Tuesday in Secunderabad to chalk out their future course of action in the wake of silence being maintained by the party president, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, over the separate state issue.
As many as 39 TD MLAs met on Sunday and discussed the formation of ‘Telangana Telugu Desam’ so that TD leaders will not lag behind in the region.
“All the party MLAs, MPs, leaders and activists will meet on Tuesday to finalise the agitational programmes to be taken up in Telangana in order to build up pressure on the Union government to speed up the process of carving out a new state,” said former minister, Mr Kadiam Srihari.
“The party chief, Mr Naidu is unlikely to attend the meeting scheduled for Tuesday as he may allow us to take a decision,” he added. Mr Srihari argued that there was no change in the party’s stand on Telangana though there was tremendous pressure on the party high command to take a decision in favour of United Andhra Pradesh. Mr Naidu who was reportedly upset with the moves of TD Telangana leaders, ‘encouraged’ pro-United leaders to take them on.
Mr Talasani Srinivas Yadav, former minister and staunch supporter of United Andhra Pradesh said: “It is unfair to target Mr Naidu in the whole episode since it is the responsibility of the Congress to make its stand clear. Mr Naidu had already made his stand clear and does not need to respond again and again,” he added.

Well this is not uncharacteristic of Babu knowing his background. He is a big changecoat and can even put chameleons to shame in this trait. He has a history of dumping his own father-in-law therefore it won't be surprising if he dumps people of Telangana or Andhra regions or both to his advantage. It is high time people around got this and do what's best for their people. Telangana leaders in TD should stop playing second fiddle to him, have some self-respect and take stand what's in the best inteests of their people keeping politics aside.
No doubt everybody will suffer if the state is bifurcated. TRS should have been banned long back for creating problems. It will be very difficult to survive in coming days for the Telangana people. I hope nothing will happen and Sonia madam will not take decision to separate.
Mr.Chandrababu Naidu, skip the meeting. Do not allow Andhra Pradesh to be bifurcated. I am against separate Telangana state. Against separate Andhra state. Against separate Rayalaseema state.
Why don't you Telangana leaders separate out of TD and start a new party under the leadership of someone like, say, Mr Goud? I am sorry, that already happened once right? Shame on you guys, for not having principles.
Telugu Desam leader Chandrababu Naidu is caught in the web which he has created, Now the stance he has taken with Mr Chandrasekhar Rao is becoming like a bitter pill to swallow. If Chandrababu was sincere in dealing with Telangana issue he would have been Messiah of Telnagana. Now Babu is considered villain on both sides, Telangana and Andhra. Chameleon tricks won't be trumps always.
