Filmmakers make a beeline for Vidya, Madhavan

Ever since Madhavan and Vidya Balan appeared in Guru as a couple, the pair has been quite a hit with audiences.
Even a cellular service provider ads featuring the two have been highly successful and their chemistry much talked about. And now filmmakers are making a beeline to sign them on for films.
Recently, director Meghna Gulzar approached Madhavan and Vidya but Vidya backed out at the last moment after showing initial interest. Now it is heard that director Raj Kaushal has approached them for his forthcoming venture.
When contacted, Raj confirmed it saying, “I have approached them but they have not confirmed yet. I am waiting for their answer.”
When asked about the film, he said, “I can’t talk about it right now as it is too early but the script demands them both and it is a mature love story.”
