After the success of her debut film Prema Ishq Kaadhal, Tollywood’s new girl Vithika Sheru is basking in the glow of new films being offered, not just in Tollywood but in Kollywood too. Vithika’s Tamil debut film Uyirmozhi is awaiting release by the end of this month. Excited, the actress says, “I’ve been working on this film for almost two years now. I play a blind girl named Priya. Five guys fall in love with her and Priya chooses the best among them. I’m really looking forward to the release of the movie,” Vithika adds.
“Playing the role of a blind girl hasn’t been easy,” Vithika says, adding, “I had to undergo rigorous training, where I had to learn Braille, I was blindfolded for many days and had to lead those days of my life as a blind person.” Uyirmozhi will also be released in Telugu.
Even before the release of her debut untitled Kollywood film, Vithika has now signed another Tamil film which will be produced by Mayajaal Productions. Vithika says, “It is a teenage love triangle. I play an engineering student who falls in love with two guys at the same time.”
Talking about her Tollywood films, Vithika shares, “I’ve been offered three Tollywood projects, one with Sundeep Kishan. I have turned down all of them, as I will be busy with my Tamil film.”
She adds that, “I am in talks with a big banner, for a heroine-centric movie. I can confirm the details only after I have signed the contract.”
