As Rajinikanth and team begin shooting for his next film, Kaala Karikaalan in Mumbai, it has been learnt that Bollywood actor Nana Patekar has been roped in to play a very key role.
“Nearly a month ago, the makers approached the actor. After hearing a narration, he was impressed by the character sketch and agreed to be a part of the film. Director Pa. Ranjith has been the actor’s admirer from very long and was quite excited to bring him on board,” reveals a source.
The team will shoot in Mumbai for over a month now. Apparently, the makers are recreating some important locations of Mumbai at the Film City as the city forms a very important backdrop for the film. Produced by Dhanush, the movie has music by Santhosh Narayanan. Huma Qureshi plays the female lead in the film which also has Anjali Patil in a key role.
