Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming film Okka Ammayi Thappa will release on June 10. Popular writer Rajasimha is debuting as director with the film.
“I wrote the story in 2007, but no one showed any interest when I narrated the subject. The film had started a couple of times, but didn’t take off,” says Rajasimha. Popular cinematographer Chota K. Naidu later took over the project as he was impressed with the story. “Everything went smoothly thereafter with Sundeep as the lead actor. I narrated the story to Nithya Menen and she agreed to do it,” says Rajasimha.
Most of the story takes place on the Hitech City flyover and they created a set for the flyover. “There’s one hour of graphics, but no one can say that they are graphics, its very realistic” adds the director.
He says that producer Anji Reddy also supported him with the story. “I am very nervous as the release date is close by,” he added.
