The Telugu Film Industry is talking about shootings resuming around the second half of June, but it will take longer for theatres to open. Some filmmakers are in a whether to wait or to sell their films to OTT channels. But producer Dil Raju is clear he has decided to wait.
His film V, starring Nani and Sudheer Babu, has been completed and is ready to hit the screens. Though the producer was approached by a private OTT channel, he has decided to release it in theatres. “Dil Raju wants to wait till theatres open in August or September, as he is the distributor and exhibitor too”, says a source from the production house.
There are dozens of films which are nearing completion, so priority will be given for that, and then the theatres will be opened.
