The 2016 release Janatha Garage proved to be a huge turning point for Jr NTR as the film went on to register record collections and also marked a hat-trick success for the actor after Temper and Nannaku Prematho.
Believing in the sentiment, the actor and his team are now considering releasing his upcoming film Jai Lava Kusa on the same date as Janatha Garage — September 1.
Interestingly, in 2016, in spite of a long weekend and it being a non-holiday season, the date proved to be very lucky for Jr NTR and his movie Janatha Garage.
The team now thinks that there’s a chance to repeat it with Jai Lava Kusa. Directed by Bobby (K.S. Ravindra), the film stars Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas as the female leads while Devi Sri Prasad has scored the film’s tunes.
