Post their super success of the 2018-film RX100, the audience had hoped to see more of actor Kartikeya Gummakonda and filmmaker Ajay Bhupathi together. Both are set to team up for the second time for another bilingual (Telugu and Tamil) action drama.
This time, the duo is teaming up for a project that’s on a bigger scale. “Director Ajay Bhupathi is giving finishing touches to the story,” informs a source. It’ll be an action drama, a genre that’s Kartikeya’s happy hunting ground, adding that the plot will also suit the sensibilities of the Tamil audience too. Also, one of the reasons Kartikeya wanted to make it in Tamil was because his debut Tamil film, Valami, starring superstar Ajith will hit the screens soon. Kartikeya believes that he’ll be a popular face post the film’s release. Incidentally, Kartikeya will be going for a makeover for his part.
“He has already started prepping up for his part and has been working on his character and would soon get into the groove by the time he starts shooting,” adds the source.
