With regard to Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, it looks like there’s been a major reshuffle. Sources reveal that the mega announcement, made in the Bigg Boss Tamil house, that Dil Raju would be producing the venture to be directed by Shankar, may not happen after all.
“Lyca Productions could take up the reins. After several discussions, it seemed like an ideal option. An official announcement about the same will possibly be made soon,” informed a source in the know.
However, sources close to the Telugu producer say, “There’s no such development at this juncture. Everything is going on as planned. If there are any changes, an announcement will be made. But issues could arise with regards to the rights of the series, which are held by A.M. Ratnam. Lyca doesn’t come into the picture at this juncture.”
