Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 61st birthday party at a private hotel in Hyderabad was a hurriedly-organised event attended by a handful of Tollywood personalities apart from Chiranjeevi’s family.
However, the main attraction of the event was Mahesh Babu, who rarely attends such parties. “Most of the attendees like Allu Arjun, Sirish, Ram Charan and Allu Aravind are his family members. So, all eyes were on Mahesh Babu when Chiranjeevi cut the cake. Mahesh took the first piece of the cake and gave it to Chiranjeevi,” said a source.
Even Chiranjeevi was happy to see Mahesh. “You generally never come out for any functions, so thank you for coming,” Chiranjeevi told Mahesh.
Mahesh is a good friend of Ram Charan and their fathers —Krishna and Chiranjeevi — were neighbours during their early years in Chennai.
