Telugu movie buffs still remember the beautiful Anita Hassanandani, who shot to fame with the song Gajuwaka pilla... in her debut movie Nuvvu Nenu in 2001.
She went on to act in many Telugu and Hindi films and a few serials. After making a cameo appearance in Genius four years ago, she was nowhere to be seen.
But now, Anita is all set to make a comeback with a lead role in Manalo Okkadu, which, interestingly, is directed by R.P. Patnaik, the composer for Nuvvu Nenu.
Patnaik, who has directed Broker, Friends Book and Tulasi Dalam, will be acting as a lecturer and Anita will be portraying the role of his wife. The film will hit the screens on Saturday.
