Now that Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan Dev’s debut film has nearly been completed, its makers have finally announced its title. The film will bear the same name as Chiranjeevi’s 1985 hit, Vijetha.
This isn’t the first time that an actor hailing from Chiranjeevi’s family has tried to gain attention by alluding to his past successes, and Kalyan appears to be no different.
He is said to have started dubbing for the film, in which he has been paired opposite Malavika Nair of Yevade Subramanyam fame. The film has been directed by Rakesh Shashi and produced by Sai Korrapati. The makers are expected to begin promotions as soon as the film is completed.
