Joining the list of Mallu girls flocking to Telugu cinema is Neha Ratnakaran. After foraying into Tamil films, Uchathula Shiva and Ivanuku Thannila Gandam, Neha is set to expand her horizons to the Telugu industry with Laali Jo Laali opposite newcomer Sambit Acharya. Talking about her role, Neha says, “I play a newlywed in the social drama, which explains how my life changes after marriage. I took my time and later came to terms since I was new to the language. My director Mohan and the team helped me with the dialogues. Shooting for the film was a learning experience, and I would love to do more films in Telugu.”
Born and raised in Kerala, Neha has fallen in love with the industry. “I like the working style of the Telugu industry and the way technicians operate. I have also been to the city a few times too for shooting, and got an opportunity to explore,” gushes the former model.
