With election season nearing, every film personality’s meeting with a politician garners interest. Just like Union Minister Hansraj Ahir’s meet with ace filmmaker Rajamouli and his father-writer Vijayendra Prasad in the city on Thursday.
Though touted to be a part of the party’s ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ (contact for support) campaign, it has piqued everyone’s curiosity. Now comes the news that Vijayendra Prasad has penned a script about the RSS and its activities. The film also features a personality named Kishen ji Banarasi, who was felicitated by an RSS chief in the ’40s for his heroics.
Interestingly, not many know that Vijayendra Prasad was a former RSS member in his childhood days and part of several activities. “The meeting lasted for 45 minutes and Vijayendra Prasad recalled his childhood RSS days. He has also completed writing the script about RSS and the film will go on the floors soon. It will be a multi-starrer and they are planning to approach Akshay Kumar for the lead role,” shares BJYM leader P. M. Sai Prasad. Titled RSS Bhagwa, the film will go on the floors once things are finalised.
Meanwhile, Vijayendra Prasad clarifies that he is not directing the film. “I am not directing it. I have completed writing the script and have given it to the Lahari Music, which is producing the film.”
