Senior director Vamsy is all set to come back with the film Fashion Designer, s/o Ladies Tailor starring Sumanth Ashwin as the lead actor. This is a sequel to his earlier hit film, Ladies Tailor with Rajendra Prasad. Interestingly, the protagonist in the film is named Sundaram, a name which also appears in the first part.
“One can see his (Vamsy’s) magical touch in this film as we all enjoyed while shooting,” says Madhura Sridhar, the producer, adding that “this film too has a village backdrop, even though it is named Fashion Designer.”
The first film was a hilarious one with the director using a ‘mole’ as a key character in the story. “In this film too, he has used another hilarious key point which will be revealed in the first ten minutes of the film,” says Sridhar.
The entire film was shot near the Godavari river, where the director shoots all his films. Vamsy is known for films like Manchu Pallaki, Sitara, Alapana, Anveshana, Ladies Tailor and many other classics. He is now all set to come back with this film after a gap of four years. The film’s shooting is completed and they are now into post-production stage. “We are planning to release it in April if we get a good date,” says Sridhar.
