Two years ago, Dhanush had announced that he’d be teaming up with director Karthik Subbaraj for a film. But, the film didn’t go on floors due to undisclosed reasons. Many suspected that the film had been shelved as well. But, Dhanush recently confirmed that the movie is still on and would go on floors soon.

In the meantime, both Karthik and Dhanush got busy with other projects. Now, that they have completed their respective films, they are all set to begin their outing together. “Shooting of this flick which is touted to be an action thriller is expected to commence in the month of October. It is also said that a major chunk of portions will be shot in picturesque locations in the USA. The team is now finalising the rest of the cast and crew,” shares a source in the know.
Further, it was also reported that the makers are also keen on roping in a Hollywood actor for a pivotal role in the movie. “The makers have a lot of options to choose from. It will take time to zero in on one person who’d fit the role,” adds the source.
