The shooting of historic film Sye Raa starring Chiranjeevi was supposed to start in Kerala on Tuesday, but now, the makers have postponed the schedule on account of cinematographer Ratnavelu, who is also working on Ram Charan’s upcoming film Rangasthalam. He was supposed to finish the film and then commence Sye Raa for a few days.
“But the film completed its shoot recently and Chiranjeevi asked the cinematographer to complete the post-production of Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam and then only join his film. So, Ratnavelu is now completing the colour correction and other technical details of Rangasthalam. Once that is over, he will join Sye Raa,” says a source.
The new schedule is likely to start in the second or third week of March. Amitabh Bachchan may also join the shooting on March 20 and 21, adds the source.
