After a long gap, actress Raai Laxmi is doing a Telugu film directed by Kishore Kumar. Titled Where is the Venkatalakshmi, the film is presently being shot at a private studio in Hyderabad.
“The film is a complete laugh riot and is sure to entertain the audience,” says Raai Laxmi, who will be seen in a full-fledged role after mostly featuring in special numbers in a couple of Telugu films.
“We are currently shooting for a song which is a complete mass entertainer. Like my earlier special songs Ringa Ringa and Rathalu, I am sure this too will be popular,” says the actress, who adds that 70 per cent of the film shoot is complete.
“The film is shaping up well and all the songs are nice,” she adds. While key portions of the film were shot in Amalapuram, the makers have also erected a big set for the mass song at a private studio in the city.
Ram Karthik is the lead actor while Poojitha Ponnada plays an important role in the film.
