Actress Pramodini is grateful for having been able to make a comeback to cinema through Telugu films. She has gained recognition for her roles in recent films like Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Lie, Mehbooba, etc.
“After working in Kannada cinema and soaps, I took a break when I got married and went to the US. I recently relocated to Hyderabad and staged a comeback. I first started working in Telugu serials; and subsequently, in Telugu films. I have been getting good roles, and want to thank the filmmakers for that,” Pramodini says.
A trained classical dancer, Pramodini says that cinema will always be her first love. “My roles are not limited to a few scenes; I am getting the opportunity to exhibit my acting chops. I still practise dance (Bharatanatyam) whenever I have the time, but films are my first love since I always wanted to become an actress. My training in dance helps me express better.”
