Mehreen Pirzada, who made her debut with Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha, and was predicted as the future star of Tollywood, is out of a project. According to a source, Mehreen who was roped in as the female lead opposite Varun Tej in an upcoming film, directed by Atluri Venkat, will be replaced by another actress. “There are date issues with Mehreen, and the makers are looking for someone to replace her,” says a source.
Though the makers have not divulged any information about the female lead, our sources reveal that a few names like Sayesshaa, Anu Emmanuel and Raashi Khanna are being tossed. “It is a romantic love story and the director wants a lean looking girl,” added the source. If they are unable to zero in on one of the above, they may opt for a new face from Mumbai, says the source.
