Anushka Shetty hasn’t signed any Telugu or Tamil films as she is completely concentrating on promoting her upcoming film Bhaagamathie. The film, which is currently in the post-production phase, is likely to release on January 26. Although there’s news about the film being a part of the 2018 Sankranti race, it looks like the makers are keener to cash in on the Republic Day holiday.
Directed by Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame, the first look of Bhaagamathie was released on Anushka’s birthday with the celebrities praising her look highly on social media. The 36-year-old actress will be seen playing two roles in the movie — one is a historical avatar while the other one presents her, in a complete contrast, sporting a modern-day look. U.V. Creations, a production house with which Prabhas is closely associated, is producing the venture in three languages.
