Now, the Andhra Pradesh government has also hired him to design a logo with a big wheel to reflect the culture of Amaravati. The government wants to install this big sculpture at the entrance of the city’s main gates. “It’s a 40-foot wheel with a dharmachakram in the middle. After six months of research, I designed it and the government has approved,” says Anand Sai, adding, “We want to use the stones used at Akshardham for this sculpture.”

Meanwhile, after Yadadri, the Telangana government is keen to change the look of Bhadrachalam too. “Yes, I completed the design of Bhadrachalam and I am going to present the final version to the Chief Minister for approval. Like Yadadri, the entire look of Bhadrachalam has changed completely except for the main temple,” says Anand Sai.

He continues, “We are planning to come up with a big street with two prakarams (parapet walls) where the story of Ramayana will be depicted. The inside wall will carry the story of Ramadas.” The popular art director is also coming out with another interesting devotional design. “A few people want to build a Sai Baba temple at Shamshabad, and I suggested that they make one like the original temple in Shirdi. So I am coming up with a replica of the original, which was built in 1967. We are even getting the same kind of stones which were used for the original temple years back,” he reveals.
