Having impressed everyone with a special song in the recent Ravi Teja-starrer Krack, Apsara Rani is set for an encore. The actress will be seen in a groovy number in the upcoming Gopichand-starrer Seetimaarr, for which she has even commenced shooting.
Incidentally, though Apsara was initially reluctant to take up the song, she tells us she is excited about it now. “I was shooting in Goa for another film. But I was fascinated with the concept and how it was narrated. Director Sampath Nandi too insisted that I do the song,” she says.
And then giving us a little insight into the song, she states, “It’s a bossy song, in which I will be seen showing attitude. I am going to act like a boss but there’s more to the number than just the groovy additions to it. There’s a surprise element that surrounds the song,” adding, nevertheless, that she likes grooving to special numbers.
“I have been dancing ever since I was three years old, and I feel dance is one of the most important abilities for an actor. I am glad that both came to me naturally.”
But does she have any qualms about doing special numbers for films, we ask her. “World’s most famous artists such as Rihanna, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez are super dancers. So for me, as long as I love grooving and entertaining my audience, I am cool with it,” Apsara says.
