Apart from Raashi Khanna, whose performance in the recent hit film Tholi Prema is being lauded, the romantic drama also features another actress, Sapna Pabbi, who is part of a special number Sunona Sunaina. The song has been an instant chartbuster ever since it was featured in the film’s trailer.
The Brit model, best known for her television series 24, is thrilled that her song in the Venky Atluri directorial has become an instant rage.
“I’m thrilled to get such a superb response, and this is surely a great start for me in the South. We have worked very hard on the song and I am pleased to see people complimenting me,” says Sapna.
Ask her what worked in the song’s favour and she replies, “The colloquial lyrics blended with peppy music stand out. The way director Venky showcased the song on us (Varun Tej and me) was heartening. And of course, the picturesque locations elevated the film’s visual experience, so it’s a team work.”
Meanwhile, Sapna’s crime thriller web television series, Breathe, directed by Mayank Sharma has also been receiving rave reviews.
