The 1957 Indian classic Maya- bazaar completed 60 years recently. On this occasion, personalities like K. Viswanath, Thanikella Bharani, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, Sobha Naidu and Madhavapeddi Suresh among several others will speak about the film at a special event. Topics to be discussed at the event include direction, screenplay, lyrics, dialogues and other technical points. The film’s producer B. Nagi Reddy’s son, B. Venkatram Reddy and his wife will also attend the do as chief guests.
Many legendary actors like NTR, ANR, Savitri and S.V. Ranga Rao have acted in the epic fantasy along with other top actors like Gummadi, Ramana Reddy and Surya Kantham. The film is still considered as one of the best, especially when it comes to screenplay. Mayabaazar was released on March 27, 1957 and stood as the number one classic in many surveys.
