Actress Mehreen will soon be seen romancing Sudheer Babu in her next film directed by Puli Vasu. The film is slated to release on August 17. Sudheer Babu, who got critical acclaim for his performance in Sammohanam has been choosy about his projects.

“Puli Vasu narrated a subject some time ago and Sudheer Babu found it to be different from the rest, so he immediately accepted it,” says a source. They then roped in Mehreen as the female lead, who has equal importance in the script.
“After going through many faces, they finally zeroed in on Mehreen for the female lead,” adds the source. Rizwan is the producer.
