While last year during Sankranti, Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi competed with each other at the box office, it looks like this year, it’s Balayya versus Chiranjeevi’s brother Pawan Kalyan. It is said that Pawan’s film will be releasing on January 10 and Balayya’s film will see a January 13 release. Although neither of the films has made an official announcement about the release date, it does look like the box office is going to be on a high, come Sankranti 2018.
“My film’s shooting is going on at a brisk pace and I am planning to release it on January 13,” says C. Kalyan, producer of Balakrishna’s film, which stars Nayanthara and is being directed by K. S. Ravi Kumar.
On the other hand, Trivikram Srinivas is helming Pawan’s project, which is touted to be a family drama. It is believed that the film is already making good money with many people ready to buy the rights for certain areas at high prices.
