Vijay Deverakonda refuses to watch Shahid Kapoor\'s \'Kabir Singh\', here\'s why

The Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda starrer Telugu hit \'Arjun Reddy\' has become a blockbuster.

Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor’s latest film 'Kabir Singh' is on the road to cross the Rs 250 crore mark at the box-office and it has become the biggest hit of his career. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is the Hindi remake of Telugu hit film 'Arjun Reddy' which featured Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. While the Tollywood heartthrob had wished the entire team of Kabir Singh for the film's success, the actor doesn't seem to be interested in watching the Hindi film.

Vijay was at a press interaction in Bengaluru for his forthcoming film Dear Comrade when he was asked if he has watched Kabir Singh. A report on Cinema Express quoted Vijay as saying, “Shahid has done that film, he has gone through the character and there is nothing for me to watch it again. I know the story, I have done that film, why will I watch again?”

The actor is just not interested in watching Shahid Kapoor starrer. Making it expressly clear, he furthermore added, "Kya picture, Kya dekenge. I wanted the Hindi film to be a big hit, because Sandeep is my man. But unexpectedly, it became a blockbuster. Done. No more discussion there."

Meanwhile, the Shahid and Kiara Advani film is still continuing to grow at the box-office with each passing day.
