Jagapathi Babu is not only in heavy demand in Tollywood, but also in the Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam industries. With 17 films lined up, this is definitely the best phase of the actor.
Since making a comeback as a villain in Legend a couple of years back, Jagapathi Babu has impressed everyone. He received a lot of praise for his performance in Srimanthudu and Nannaku Prematho, and very soon he became one of the most wanted actors in the South Indian film industries.
Two of his Telugu films – Oxygen and another with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Puri Jagan, are in the production stage.
A source says JB will also be roped in for a film directed by Gopichand, starring Sai Dharam Tej. Raghavendra Rao’s devotional film Om Namo Venkatesaya, and Krish’s historic film Gautamiputra Satakarni, are his other films. He may also play a key role in Chiranjeevi’s 150 film Kathilantodu.
Apart from these, JB will be acting in a Mohan Lal film and also in two Tamil films, one starring Vijay and the other starring Vishal. He is currently shooting a Kannada film and will be working on another after that.
