Sivaji Raja vents his ire!

The President of the Movie Artists Association slams actresses for being non-cooperative and opportunistic.

The Movie Artistes Association (MAA) is celebrating its Silver Jubilee year and has planned many events to commemorate the same. Sivaji Raja, President of MAA announced that Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu have agreed to visit the US for a couple of fundraising events.

“We are planning to build our own office for MAA and want to name two corridors after these two actors,” reveals Sivaji Raja, while expressing his anger at female actresses for not cooperating. “Most of the actresses are from other states and take crores of rupees, but do not cooperate. Only when they face problems like a cheque-bounce, they approach us. If they don’t respond to our call now, we don't want to help them in the future either,” says an angry Sivaji Raja.

He claims that actresses join the Telugu Movie Artistes Association only when they face remuneration problems from the producers. “They give a '1 lakh cheque for membership and come to us with a '20 lakh cheque-bounce problem the very next day,” says Sivaji Raja.
