Top producer Ashwini Dutt is all set to make a sequel to his earlier hit film, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. Chiranjeevi and Sridevi were the lead pair in this 1990 blockbuster film, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by Dutt himself.
The film was one of Chiranjeevi’s best and propelled him to new heights.
Although the idea of a sequel was on his mind since a long time, Dutt was waiting for the right director to handle the subject.
He is now planning the sequel with Chiranjeevi’s son, Ram Charan and has registered the title as Jagadeka Veerudu. It remains to be seen whether Charan will accept this offer or wait for some more time, as he is presently busy with the film Dhruva, a remake of Tamil hit film Thani Oruvan.
