It’s been quite a while since we saw Manchu Manoj in his element. But that will probably change with Gunturodu, in which he’s donning his much loved commercial hero avatar. The trailer, which was released recently, has elements of action, but the actor also plays a lover boy.
After Current Theega, the actor was seen in Rowdy and Shourya, films that brought out a new side of him. But with Gunturodu, he’s said to be keen to get back into the mode that audience like seeing him in. He has apparently taken great care to ensure that the viewers are satisfied.
“He wants to give a treat to the mass as well as class audiences,” a source close to him says. The film, directed by S.K. Satya, stars Pragya Jaiswal as the female lead and is produced by Sreevarun Vatluri. The film is set to release on February 10.
