After a string of ordinary outings, actor Sai Dharam Tej (SDT) eventually got his much-needed break as well as a respite at the box office with his last film, Chitralahari. It sure looks like the Kishore Tirumala directorial has given the actor a world of confidence to sign on a few more experimental films.
Currently working on a breezy entertainer under director Maruthi, SDT has apparently signed up for another project, which will be helmed by debutant Subbu, a protégé of director Virinchi Varma. The film, whose pre-production work is already in full swing, is being produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad.
Believed to be a new-age entertainer, the film will showcase SDT in a new light. We are also told that the actor is likely go for a makeover for his part. “SDT happens to be fascinated with the plotline of debutant director Subbu. After coming up with a comprehensive narration, both the actor and director decided to collaborate,” a source informs us.”
