The Padi Padi Leche Manasu director is in talks to direct the Telugu version of the action drama.

Days after the announcement that Venkatesh will star in the Telugu remake of Tamil film Asuran comes the news that director Hanu Raghavapudi will helm the project.
Apparently, producers Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S. Thanu believe that Hanu’s directorial skills are perfectly suited for the remake, and have approached the director.
A source informs, “Director Hanu Raghavapudi is in talks with the producers for the remake. He has expressed interest to take up the project, but he is still working on the remaining modalities. If all goes well, this will be his next directorial.” Action-drama Asuran, directed by Vetrimaran, originally starred Dhanush and Manju Warrier, and went on to garner great acclaim.
