Director Ram Gopal Varma is now coming with another project. Titled Beautiful, this film, says the director, will be a tribute to his earlier cult-classic, Rangeela. Interestingly, Ram Gopal Varma will not be directing the film. He will, however, be producing it, and we are told, he “has given the charge to Agasthya Manju”. Agasthya Manju has written, photographed and directed the film.
Agasthya Manju had earlier directed the film Lakshmi’s NTR along with RGV, and having been impressed with his work, RGV handed Beautiful to him too. Parth Suri and Naina Ganguly will be seen as the lead pair in this romantic film, whose stills RGV has released. The film is a bilingual, releasing both in Telugu and Hindi. On his Twitter page, RGV says, “Beautiful is a conceptual sequel to RANGEELA as in how the rich girl accepted the poor guy in the climax of Rangeela ..But can a poor guy really live under a rich girl’s shadow swallowing his own self respect? That’s what #BEAUTIFUL is about (sic).”
