Post the success of the Mahesh Babu-starrer Maharshi, which recently won a National Award, director Vamshi Paidipally has been choosy about his next.
While he had bounced a few ideas to star heroes, the filmmaker now seems to be looking towards Tamil. We have reliably learnt that Vamshi will be directing Thalapathy Vijay’s next.
Vamshi PaidipallyThe director and superstar have been discussing collaborating on a project, and it looks like the time has finally arrived. Informed sources tell us that the film is going to be an action-drama filled with emotions and entertainment. As soon as Vijay fulfils his other commitments, he will begin shooting for the Vamshi directorial.
“For the past few days, Vamshi has been shuttling between Hyderabad and Chennai. He has been constantly updating Vijay about the script developments. The script is now locked, and the director has obtained a ‘go-ahead’ from the superstar,” the sources say.
