Manchu Vishnu pays Rs 2 crore for story

The actor will soon be working on a film based on Vijayendra's Prasad's story.

One of the top writers in India, Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali and Bajarangi Bhaijaan fame, has penned a new story for actor Manchu Vishnu. Confirming the news, Vijayendra says, “Yes, I gave a story to Manchu Vishnu and I can’t reveal the details about what kind of story it is.”

However, there are rumours that the tale is set against a Pakistani backdrop, featuring an Indian boy and a Pakistani girl. When asked whether that’s true, Vijayendra says, “You should ask Manchu Vishnu about the story. I can’t reveal it.”

A source reveals that it was Mohan Babu who had shown interest in working on a story from the top writer’s pen. “When he requested him to write something for his son, Vijayendra Prasad gave this story and the Manchu family paid him a huge amount — '2 crore — for it,” added the source.
